Day 11 - Find your name on the paper. That’s your new seat! DA On the paper provided, write a short, interesting or funny story about yourself that will help us get to know you. Write your name on it and turn it in.

Day 12 DA - Draw a cube above the horizon line using 1-point perspective. Did you email the photo from last class? Objective: Demonstrate understanding of 1-point perspective.

Day 14 SUBSTITUTE Day 15 DA - Rank your behavior last class on a scale of 1-5 (1 being the worst, 5 being the best). Get your 1 point perspective checklist out. Objective: Demonstrate understanding of 1-point perspective.
Day 16 DA - Write your name in block letters. No rounded bubble letters. This size of 1 sketchbook page. Objective: I understand bird’s eye view 1-point perspective. (rate 1-5)
Day 17 DA - Above or below your block letter name (from last class), draw a vanishing point. Start connecting the lines. Objective: I can draw 1-point perspective from eye-level and bird’s-eye view. (copy, self-assess 1-5) Life skills: Problem-solving, giving and receiving feedback
What if I don’t know what to do? -use your perspective checklist -look at a visual aid -give/receive feedback from someone at your table
Day 18 DA - Below your block letter name, draw a vanishing point. Start connecting the lines. Objective: Demonstrate understanding of colored pencil techniques.
Day 19 DA - Pull your block letter name out. Draw the ‘bottom’ or ‘top’ of the letters so that they don’t reach the vanishing point. Erase left over lines and vanishing point. Select 2 colored pencils, one light, 1 dark. Wait for instructions. Objective: I can make my art look realistic using value and a light source.
DA 20 Write the objective: I have my rough draft drawing of the cityscape traced on final paper. (Rate 1-5) Agenda: -Continue work on your individual 1-point perspective project. -Use your checklist.
